I can't get sourcream here in Greece, but I found this substitute on the internet! Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups cream |
2 tablespoons buttermilk |
Directions:
1. Stir cream and buttermilk in a pint jar. 2. Cover and shake. 3. Let stand at room temperature, uncovered, 6 hours to overnight, then chill well. 4. When ready to serve sour cream, beat to medium-stiff peaks- not stiff. 5. Serve immediately. 6. Whipped mixture should double in volume. |
