SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE DATED 1969 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Van Meter Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
9” pie crust |
1 cup raisins |
2/3 cup granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 cup sour cream |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie shell then bake at 375 for 45 minutes. 2. Cool completely then serve with ice cream or whipped cream. |
