This is my Grandma Suezelle's Sour Cream Pound Cake! There is NOTHING better! Smear it with butter and have a simple amazing pleasure! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325.
2. Cream sugar and eggs until light in color and add vanilla.
3. Mix soda into sour cream.
4. Mix sour cream into egg mixture.
5. Sift flour and cream of tartar together and fold into wet mixture.
6. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 325 for 1 hour.
