SOUR CREAM POTATO SALAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Washington Estate in Spring, Texas in 1990. Ingredients:
1/3 cup italian salad dressing |
7 medium baked potatoes peeled and sliced |
3/4 cup celery sliced |
1/3 cup green onion sliced |
4 hard boiled eggs |
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
3/4 cup sour cream |
1-1/2 teaspoons horseradish mustard |
Directions:
1. Pour Italian dressing over warm potatoes then chill 2 hours. 2. Add celery and onion then chop egg whites. 3. Mash yolks then mix with mayonnaise, sour cream and mustard then fold into salad. 4. Add salt and celery seed then chill 2 hours. |
