A very refreshing dessert in the summer. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cornstarch |
1 tablespoon grated fresh lemon rind |
1/4 cup butter |
1 1/4 cups milk |
3 eggs, beaten |
1/3 cup lemon juice |
1 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, cornstarch and milk. 2. Add eggs, lemon juice and lemon rind; stir still smooth. 3. Add butter;cook over medium heat stirring constantly. 4. Boil about 1 minute; remove from heat and cool. 5. Add sour cream and pour into a 9 baked pie shell; chill. 6. Serve with Cool Whip. |
