Sour Cream in Cabbage 3 - Microwave |

A fast favorite, low calorie, high fiber and perfect with a lean pork chop. Add a teaspoonful of prepared horseradish with the sour cream for a delicious variation! Ingredients:
1/4 green cabbage, core removed, chopped into bite-sized pieces |
1/4 cup nonfat sour cream (low, or full fat if you prefer) |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Place cabbage in covered glass dish with a few spoonfuls of water. 2. Microwave on high for 6 minutes, turning every 2 minutes if necessary. 3. Drain excess cooking water (be careful of the steam!). 4. Stir in ~1/4 C of sour cream, salt and pepper to taste. |
