Delicious and versatile sour cream frosting to go with all types of pound cake. Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter, softened |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, sour cream, vanilla, lemon juice and salt. Stir in confectioners' sugar, and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. |
