Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, softened |
2 cups sugar |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup commercial sour cream |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
4 cups all-purpose flour |
Directions:
1. Cream butter in a large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, beating well. Add sour cream and soda; beat well. Stir in flour. Cover and chill overnight. 2. Roll half of dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a floured surface; keep remaining dough chilled. Cut with floured 2-inch cutters into desired shapes. 3. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets; bake at 450° for 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheets, and cool on wire racks. |
