Another holiday cookie recipe to share. These can be formed into logs and sliced or rolled out and cut with cookie cutters. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
3 eggs |
1 cup sour cream |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
4 cups flour - add a little if you need to make the dough firm |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs. Next add sour cream and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients. Make into a ball and refrigerate for 1 hour. 2. Roll out cookies and cut out with cookie cutters. Bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes. 3. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when they are warm or frost and decorate when they are cool. |
