Dot the batter with jam for a fruity surprise in each slice. Ingredients:
2 c flour |
1 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 sticks unsalted butter,softened |
1-3/4 c sugar |
2 large eggs |
2 tsp vanilla |
1 c sour cream |
3 tbs jam 9optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously butter a 9 bundt pan;dust with flour. Whisk flour,baking powder and salt. 2. Beat the butter and sugar till creamy. One by one,beat in eggs,vanilla and sour cream. Gently mix in the flour. Spoon 1/3 of the batter into the pan,dot withjam,if desired,and top with remaining batter. 3. Bake 60 to 70 mins. Cool for about 5 mins.,unmold onto a rack and cool completely. |
