Another easy way to dress up canned beets. Ingredients:
2 cans sliced beets |
3/4 cup sour cream |
3 tbsp milk |
2 tbsp sliced green onion tops |
1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar |
1/2 tbsp sugar |
1/2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Heat beets, either in saucepan on top of stove or in microwave. 2. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a small saucepan. 3. Heat over low heat until heated through but do not let it boil. 4. Drain beets and put them in a serving dish. 5. Top with sour cream mixture. 6. If you wish, stir to combine beets with sauce. |
