This delicious apple pie goes great with vanilla ice cream. The sour cream makes the filling rich and creamy! Ingredients:
7 green apples, peeled & sliced |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar |
1 teaspoon granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 400 degrees. 2. Combine apples, lemon juice and sour cream in a small bowl. 3. Mix all other ingredients and add to the apple mixture. 4. Put into a 9 pie tin with a premade crust. 5. Dot with butter and sprinkle with topping. 6. Bake for 50 minutes. |
