It turned out delicious and more creamy with a nice apple flavor. Very good!!! Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup sugar |
6 tablespoons flour, divided |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 cups chopped peeled cooking apples |
1 unbaked pie shell |
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine, melted |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl beat eggs. 2. Add sour cream. 3. Stir in sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, vanilla and salt. 4. Gently stir in the apples, then pour everything into the pie shell. 5. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. 6. Meanwhile combine butter, brown sugar and remaining flour. 7. Sprinkle over top of pie and cook for 20-25 more minutes or until filling is set. 8. Cool completely on rack and serve, or cover and refrigerate. |
