1 teaspoon red chile, roughly chopped |
1 onion, sliced |
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds |
1/2 teaspoon coriander seed |
1/2 cup tamarind juice |
400 g eggplants |
2 teaspoons cumin seeds |
2 tomatoes, pureed |
1 pinch turmeric powder |
salt |
2 tablespoons oil |
Directions:
1. Cut the brinjal in round pieces. Heat oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds, cumin seeds and coriander seeds. 2. Add brinjal and onions to it and stir fry. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and serve. |
