This is a wonderfully easy, no-fail rice recipe that tastes great! This recipe came from my mother about 35 years ago and I just keep using it! One note though, it doesn't double well. Ingredients:
1 cup long grain rice |
1/2 package onion soup mix |
1/4 cup salad oil |
2 tbsp. soya sauce |
1 cup mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Drain juice from mushrooms into measuring cup. 2. Top mushroom juice with water to make 2 cups. 3. Combine all remaining ingredients in casserole dish with liquid, mixing well. Bake at 350F for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. |
