Souper Meat 'n Potato Pie |

This is one of my comfort foods. Ingredients:
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup or 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can mushroom soup |
1 lb hamburger |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
2 cups mashed potatoes |
1/4 cup shredded mild cheese |
Directions:
1. Mix thoroughly 1/2 can of soup, beef, onion, egg, and seasonings. 2. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate. 3. Bake at 359 for 25 minutes; spoon off fat. 4. Frost with potatoes. 5. Top with remaining soup and cheese. 6. Bake 10 minutes more, or until done. |
