Souper Duper Cabbage and Beef Soup

This is a spur of the moment soup with local peppers, onion, tomato and cabbage.
Ingredients:
4 cups shredded green cabbage
1 cup chopped red onion
1 cup chopped sweet white onion
4 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon minced chipotle chile in adobo
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon cardamom
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 teaspoon sage, finely ground
1 lb ground beef
2 cups chopped beefsteak tomatoes
2 cups chopped roma tomatoes
1/2 cup minced ripe banana pepper
1 (15 ounce) can black olives in water
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans
2 cups frozen green beans
Directions:
1. Saute all the vegetables and spices in the olive oil until the cabbage is wilting.
2. Add ground beef and saute until the beef is all browned and cooked through.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they break down.
4. Add olives and garbanzo beans and cook through.
5. Add frozen green beans and simmer until tender.
6. Season with salt and pepper.
