This basic technique can be switched up with different herbs and nuts for endless combos. Ingredients:
1/4 cup organic green onion |
1/2 cup plus 1 tsp. pure 100% olive oil, divided |
2 (75 ml) packages sorrel |
1/4 cup slivered almonds |
1 tablespoon lemon zest and lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. In a skillet on medium heat, cook green onions, with 1 teaspoons olive oil until translucent, about 5 minutes. Place onions and the remaining ingredients into a blender and purée until smooth. Enjoy with baked chicken breasts, fish, pasta or vegetables. |
