1 lb ground beef, 80% lean |
4 oz italian sausage |
24 oz tomatoes |
1 c green pepper |
1 c onion |
2 tbsp olive oil |
4 cloves garlic |
1/4 c fresh oregano |
1 salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Brown ground chuck and sausage, and drain well. 2. Saute chopped green pepper, onion and garlic in olive oil in a large pot. 3. When green pepper is tender and onion is transparent, add tomatoes and stir. 4. Add meats and spices. Simmer 30 minutes. |
