Spiced Chai made from reduced fat milk. Ingredients:
2 cups 1 % milk |
2 cup water |
1 teaspoon black tea |
3 tea bags |
1 teaspoon ginger powder |
1 teaspoon cardamom |
1 teaspoon fennel seeds |
1 pinch cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Put cold water in the pot. 2. Add loose tea, tea bags, fennel, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon. 3. Bring the spiced liquid to a rolling boil. 4. Add cold milk, return to heat. 5. Bring the liquid to a boil again. It should turn a golden chai color. 6. Strain and serve the chai, using Equal or Splenda to taste to sweeten. 7. Enjoy. |
