A wonderful and soft cookie, that melts in you mouth. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
3 eggs |
1 cup molasses |
1 cup sour cream |
3 1/2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons ginger powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon allspice |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 1/2 cups raisins |
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Set oven to 375 degrees. 2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. 3. Add in the eggs, beating well after each addition. 4. Beat in molasses and sour cream. 5. Combine flour, ginger, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg; gradually add to the creamed mixture. 6. Stir in raisins and walnuts. 7. Drop by tablespoons (1-inch apart) on greased cookie sheets. 8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges begin to brown. 9. Remove to wire racks; cool. |
