Yummy! Used to sell these to raise money for the Humane Society. They are soft and sweet. They taste like the ginger cookies at Starbucks except better. My grandmother's recipe. Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup molasses |
1 egg, beaten |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Mix, chill, roll into small balls. 2. Roll in sugar, place on very lightly greased cookie sheet. 3. Bake at 325°F until brown, about 18 minutes. |
