These are a great snack to hand out after soccer practice or as a snack in a lunch or after school. These are great without the icing as well Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, room temp |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1/3 cup peanut butter |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1 cup old-fashioned oatmeal |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons peanut butter |
2 tablespoons milk |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and peanut butter; mix well. Stir in baking soda, salt, flour and oatmeal. Press into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Bake 20-25 min or until golden brown. Remove from oven and drizzle with icing. Cool completely and cut into squares. |
