This is a wonderful dip that is great with french bread cubes, crackers, or chips! Make plenty for it will disappear quickly! Ingredients:
1 roll breakfast sausage(mild) |
8 oz. mushrooms, diced or chopped |
1 small can chopped black olives |
1 stick butter |
1 teaspoon chopped or minced garlic |
dash creole spice |
dash of parsley |
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup chopped onions |
1/4 teaspoon course ground black pepper |
8 oz. cream cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage, onions,garlic, and mushrooms in skillet. 2. Stir in butter and cream cheese and cook over low/medium heat until well blended and melted. 3. Pour into casserole dish. 4. Stir in black olives, creole spice, black pepper, and parsley. 5. Top with cheese and place in 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. 6. You can also just pop into microwave and cook on high, covered, until cheese melts(about 3 to 4 minutes) 7. Serve hot with your favorite cracker, chip, or bread cubes. |
