So Good For You Soup with Barley and Lentils

Enjoy a rich and hearty soup. It grows as you cook it, so use a large pot. No fat in this soup. Treat yourself to a roll, because you can. Make it VEGETARIAN by trading the chicken broth for vegetable broth.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup lentils,rinsed
1/2 cup barley
16 ounce tomatoes, no sodium
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup celery, sliced
3/4 cup carrots, sliced
1 tblsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp dried dill weed
1 tsp garlic powder
5 cups organic low sodium chicken broth
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook 50 Minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if soup becomes too thick (I've never added water, I like it thick like a stew)
2. Makes 10 generous 1 cup servings. 2pp each.
