Make this quick skillet dinner on a busy night and satisfy the whole family. Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 green bell pepper, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 ounces (about 3/4 cup) bow tie pasta |
26 ounce chopped tomatoes, drained |
4 ounce mushroom pieces |
Directions:
1. Combine turkey, onion, bell pepper and garlic powder in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until turkey is browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Stir in salt. 2. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. 3. Add tomatoes and mushroom pieces to skillet; mix well. Add pasta. 4. Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occcasionally, until liquid is absorbed and pasta is very tender, about 5 minutes. |
