SO EASY! A favorite old recipe, and tried and true. Bursting with flavors, a great addition to a meal. And perfect for a buffet.
Ingredients:
1 cup rice (i use riceland rice, long grain)
1 cup water
1 can beef consomme
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1 small jar pimiento
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients
2. Place in a covered casserole
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (have baked at 375 degrees)
4. NOTE: May be mixed in the casserole and placed directly into oven
