1 pie shell, baked |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 pint boiling water |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup coconut |
2 egg whites |
2 cups whipping cream |
1 -2 tablespoon cocoa |
Directions:
1. boil water coconut and sugar together reserving enough coconut to garnish. 2. add cornstarch to thicken 3. cool beat egg whites 4. fold into cooled mixture 5. fill crust 6. beat whipping cream 7. cover pie 8. sift cocoa over pie 9. sprinkle coconut 10. chill. |
