SNOW BALLS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Stinson Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
2 cups and 2 tablespoons cake flour |
3 teaspoons vanilla |
5 tablespoons confectioners sugar |
1 cup pecans chopped fine |
1 teaspoon water |
Directions:
1. Beat butter until creamy then add sugar and stir in remaining ingredients. 2. Chill until firm enough to shape with fingers then roll into small balls. 3. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 12 minutes. 4. As soon as removed from oven roll in confectioners sugar. |
