Ingredients:
1 cup(s) butter |
1 1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar |
2 eggs |
2 3/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoon(s) cream of tartar |
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
2 tablespoon(s) granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Mix butter, sugar, and eggs thoroughly. 2. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. 3. Stir into mixture. 4. Form into balls the size of a walnut. 5. Roll balls in mixture of 2 T sugar and cinnamon. 6. Place about 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. 7. They puff up during baking but settle down and look sugary and crinkly. 8. Bake at 400 deg for 8-10 min. |
