This recipe came from my sister (not my sista) lol..It is very easy and quick to do resulting in a beautiful coconut lovers dessert. Don't be put off by the coconut, research has proven that coconut though a saturated fat is a good one and a major player in the good health game. Read more . Out of the Ball Park kinda player... Ingredients:
cake ingredients |
1 box white cake mix |
1/4 cup oil |
1 1/2 cup water |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup coconut |
1 can cream of coconut (use after cake has been baked) |
frosting |
1 container cool whip |
coconut (extra to spinkle on top) |
Directions:
1. Mix well the boxed cake mix, oil, water, eggs (beaten), and 1/2 cup coconut. 2. Pour all into a 9 x 13 pan. 3. Bake at 350ยบ F for 30 minutes. 4. After taking cake out of oven. 5. Poke holes in cake. 6. Pour 1 can of cream of coconut over cake. 7. Let cake cool. 8. Frost with cool whip 9. Sprinkle more coconut over top. |
