I make this for every holiday dinner. Sometimes I even double the recipe. Ingredients:
1 (1 lb) canned green beans |
4 slices bacon |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook 4 slices of bacon till crisp; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. 2. Cook 1/4 cup chopped onion in reserved fat till tender. 3. Add 1-2 Tablespoons tarragon vinegar 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash pepper. 4. Pour over 2 cups hot cooked drained green beans. 5. Crumble bacon atop. |
