SNAPPY COCKTAIL MEATBALLS WITH HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Ellington Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1983. Ingredients:
1-1/2 pounds lean ground sirloin |
1 package brown gravy mix |
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish |
1 tablespoon parsley flakes |
1 teaspoon basil leaves |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
sauce |
1/2 cup dijon mustard |
3 tablespoons honey |
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all meatball ingredients and mix well then shape into 1” meatballs. 2. Place on shallow baking pan and bake 15 minutes at 375. 3. In small bowl combine sauce ingredients and serve alongside meatballs. |
