This dish reminds my friend of a steamed pork dumpling. I find it comforting and easy to put together. Let me know if you feel the same :>) Ingredients:
3/4 lb spaghetti, uncooked |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
2 tbs dry sherry |
4 tsp cornstarch |
1 cup water |
1 lb ground pork |
1 tbs minced fresh ginger |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper |
3/4 cup green onions, chopped |
1/2 lb baby shrimp, cooked, rinsed and drained |
Directions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions, omitting salt; 2. drain and keep warm. 3. Combine soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch and 1 cup water. Stir fry pork with ginger, garlic and red pepper in a hot wok or large skillet over medium heat until pork is cooked. 4. Add green onions and stir fry one minute. 5. Add soy sauce mixture; cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens slightly. 6. Stir in shrimp and heat through. 7. Pour over noodles and toss to combine. |
