Smothered Potatoes Green Beans And Sausage

Ingredients:
1/2 lb smoked link sausage
1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion
1 tbs butter
4 medium potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup water
1 16-oz package frozen green beans
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
1. Slice sausage diagonally into 1/2-inch pieces.
2. Saute onion in butter 2 minutes.
3. Add sausage to onion. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until sausage begins to brown. Add potatoes and 1/2 cup water (or enough to cover bottom of pot).
4. Cover and simmer until potatoes are partially cooked.
5. Add green beans. Cover and simmer until beans are tender.
6. Turn sausage and vegetables at least twice while cooking.
