This is great served over noodles or rice. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped |
1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped |
1/4 cup celery, thinly sliced |
1 1/2 lbs chicken thighs or 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, bone-in |
1 package dry mushroom gravy mix |
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Heat oil; add onion, green pepper, and celery. 2. Saute for 2 minutes. 3. Add chicken; cook 7 minutes per side, until browned. 4. Combine gravy mix and milk. 5. Stir into chicken. 6. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. |
