This recipe was passed down from Grandma. Very tasty, distinct, and addicting flavor. Ingredients:
2 lbs stew meat |
1 (2 ounce) package dry onion soup mix |
2 (14 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup |
1 (8 ounce) can mushrooms |
1/2 cup sherry wine |
Directions:
1. Mix all but meat, pour over meat and bake at 350°F for 2 1/2- 3 hours or in crock pot all day. 2. Serve over rice, egg noodles, or my favorite-mashed potatoes. |
