This is a modification to traditional No Bake Cookies. I got the idea when my 4-year old daughter suggested Mommy, can we put marshmallows in the cookies? I decided to switch graham crackers for oats and the results were AMAZING! Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup cocoa |
1/2 cup melted butter |
1/2 cup milk |
3 tablespoons peanut butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 cups coarsely crushed graham crackers |
2 cups miniature marshmallows |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk in a large pan and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. 2. Remove from heat. 3. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until blended. 4. Gently stir in graham crackers and fold in marshmallows. 5. Either spread into a buttered 13x9x2 inch pan or drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper or pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. 6. Refrigerate until firm. |
