This is my sister-in-law's recipe, which she pours over cooked broccoli. Using smoky cheese is essential to give it that unique flavor. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup milk |
2 -3 tablespoons sour cream |
2 ounces smoky cheese |
Directions:
1. Melt butter, stir in flour, and cook for one minute. 2. Slowly stir in milk. 3. Cook until thick. 4. Stir in sour cream and smoky cheese. 5. Taste and adjust for salt. 6. When melted, serve. Don't allow the sauce to boil at this point. |
