A no-cook cheese appetizer spread for cracker or party bread. The cooking time is the time needed for refrigeration. Ingredients:
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated |
2 cups swiss cheese, grated |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon onion, grated |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon celery salt |
1/8 teaspoon liquid smoke |
2 -3 drops hot pepper sauce |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine cheeses. 2. Stir in mayonnaise until well blended. 3. Stir in remaining ingredients. 4. Shape into a 9x3-inch log; wrap airtight in plastic wrap or foil. 5. Refrigerate for 1-3 hours. 6. Makes 1 cheese log. |
