Haven't tried yet. Made in slow cooker. Healthy. Weight Watchers Ingredients:
2 (15 ounce) cans low-sodium pinto beans, rinsed and drained |
1 (15 ounce) can low-sodium black beans, rinsed and drained |
1 large yellow onion, chopped |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 tablespoon smoked paprika |
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt |
1 pinch cayenne |
3 slices turkey bacon, cooked until crisp |
Directions:
1. Combine everything in a 5 or 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook until onion is fork tender, 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low. |
