Great baked beans!! Ingredients:
1 lb bacon |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped |
5 cans (16 oz. each) pork and beans, drained |
1 bottle (14 oz.) bottle catsup |
2-1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar |
1/4 tsp mustard |
1/4 cup worcestershire® sauce |
2 tsp each liquid smoke® seasoning |
cinnamon to taste |
tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 300° F. Fry bacon in large skillet until crispy. Drain on 2. paper towels and set aside. In same skillet saute onions and bell pepper until light golden and tender. Drain excess bacon grease and add all remaining ingredients except beans. Add beans to a large baking dish, then add skillet ingredients, mixing everything well. Bake 2 hrs. |
