Pair this Dip with crunchy Tri-Wheats Cracker, 40% less salt, Original tri-wheats,Crackers, or thin wheats, what a treat that is. Ingredients:
3 slices naturally smoked bacon, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/3 cup sun-dried tomato, blanched nd thinly sliced |
1 (540 ml) can six bean blend, drained and rinsed |
1 cup sour cream, fat-free |
2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves |
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 cup seeded and diced tomato |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, cook bacon, garlic, onion and sundried tomatoes, until bacon is crisp; cool to room temperature. 2. In a food processor, combine bacon mixture, beans, sour cream, parsley and cumin. Process until smooth. Stir in tomatoes. Spoon dip into a wide dish. |
