Tired of paying the price for flavored almonds, I developed this alternative. Ingredients:
3 tsp. liquid smoke |
2 tbsp. water |
8 oz. raw almonds |
1 tsp. olive oil |
lawry's seasoned salt |
Directions:
1. Put liquid smoke and water in a small saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil and add almonds. 3. Cook until all liquid is gone. 4. Remove almonds to baking sheet. 5. Roast in 350 degree oven for 35 min. or until well dried. 6. Toss immediatly with olive oil to coat. 7. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and toss to coat. 8. Place on paper towel to cool. |
