SMOKED TROUT SPREAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Almond Estate in Grand Prairie Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1 pound trout smoked |
8 ounces cream cheese |
2 tablespoons hot sauce |
2 tablespoons mustard |
1 teaspoon horseradish |
1/8 cup pimento peppers chopped |
1/2 red onion chopped fine |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except trout and beat at medium speed until well blended. 2. Stir in trout with a spoon then cover and chill 2 hours. 3. Serve with crackers. |
