Smoked Salmon in Vodka Cream Sauce |

Just something I through together the other night because I had the ingredients on hand and my kids said I should post it. Ingredients:
1/2 lb smoked salmon |
4 -5 green onions, chopped |
2 roasted red peppers |
12 cherry tomatoes |
1 ounce capers |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 teaspoon fresh dill weed |
1/2 teaspoon dill seed, crushed |
2 tablespoons chives |
salt and pepper |
1/4 teaspoon red chili seeds |
2 tablespoons unbleached flour |
1/4 cup vodka |
1/2-1 cup swiss cheese |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
1 1/2 cups whole milk |
1/2-1 cup cream |
Directions:
1. saute salmon, onions, in butter and oil 2. add spices. 3. mix in the flour till well blended. 4. add vodka let cook 30 seconds 5. add milk, cheeses and cream and tomatoes, capers and peppers. 6. stir till thickened. 7. serve over pasta. |
