SMOKED SALMON DILL SALAD WITH PASTA SHELLS DATED 1964 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the McDonald Estate in Wylie, Texas in 1990. My catering partner loves this recipe and serves it on a regular basis. Ingredients:
7 ounces smoked salmon |
8 ounces sea shell pasta cooked |
3 tablespoons chopped shallots |
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh dill |
1/4 cup plain yogurt |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. Flake salmon with fork then toss into dressing made of mayonnaise, yogurt, shallots and dill. 2. Mix carefully with the pasta then refrigerate salad for several hours. |
