This hearty cracker spread is great for entertaining. From Land-O-Lakes Cookbook Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
2 teaspoons onions, finely chopped |
1 teaspoon liquid smoke |
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish |
16 ounces salmon, drained, bones removed, flaked |
pecans, chooped |
fresh parsley, chopped |
Directions:
1. in small bowl beat cream cheese at medium speed, scraping bowl often until light and fluffy. 2. add salt, lemon juice, onion, liquid smoke and horseradish. continue beating until well mixed. 3. by hand stir in salmon. 4. spoon into serving bowl. if desired garnish with peacans and parsley. 5. serve with crakers, store refrigerated. |
