Smoked Salmon Cracker Spread |

This hearty cracker spread is great for entertaining. Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
2 teaspoons finely chopped onions |
1 teaspoon liquid smoke |
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish |
1 (16 ounce) can salmon, drained,bones removed,flaked |
chopped pecans, for garnish |
chopped parsley, for garnish |
Directions:
1. In small mixing bowl beat cream cheese at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and fluffy (2 to 3 minutes). 2. Add salt, lemon juice, onion, liquid smoke and horseradish. 3. Continue beating until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes). 4. By hand, stir in salmon. 5. Spoon into a serving bowl. 6. If desired, garnish with pecans and parsley. 7. Serve with crackers. 8. Store in refrigerator. |
