This is outstanding and so simple. I LOVE it! The combination of the sweet gherkin and hot mustard, tempered with the smoky salmon is incredible! The amounts are arbitrary and there little prep time. Just flake off a piece of salmon, open up a jar of mustard, pickles and a sleeve of crackers. Ingredients:
6 ounces smoked salmon fillets, flaked, not lox |
3 ounces chinese hot mustard |
6 ounces mini gherkins |
4 ounces water crackers, any plain delicate tasting cracker |
Directions:
1. Spread 1/2 teaspoon or more of the mustard on a water cracker. 2. Top with desired amount of smoked salmon. 3. Top with a small gherkin. 4. Enjoy! |
